My experiences in a digital analytics environment

The Web Analyst (or Digital Analyst) is in charge of the analysis of the objectives and results obtained on the web or through applications. He/she generally works around websites, mobile applications, social networks or other online platforms, in an agency or directly at the advertiser’s.

He/she must understand the global organization of the company and the evolution of the market in order to implement measures and analyze the activity and results of a web platform. His/her skills will allow him/her to identify traffic and online interaction trends in order to make recommendations for platform improvements. He also supports the business teams in providing them with key metrics.

Digital Analytics

I had the opportunity to work in teams composed mostly of web/digital analysts.

During these missions I worked as a data engineer with data sources coming from Google Analytics but also as a data scientist trying to set up an analysis process allowing us to go a little further than what these different analytics tools offer by using machine learning algorithms.

I joined a team of web/digital analysts at Business et Décision where I had the opportunity to work with the best manager I have ever worked with, Sèverine HERILS.
